Beautiful song from the Fray off their new album "Scars and Stories." Here are the basic chords:

(No Capo)

INTRO:

G F C Cm F

VERSE 1:

G F C
I said I told you everything I left something out
      Cm F
Underneath the stairwell
G F C
That I'm under lock and key, but you can probably tell
      Cm F
I'm a king of my...in a prison cell

PRE-CHORUS:

Am D Em C
I wanna return but all you do is turn and sleep
Am D (Ebm) Em C
If I can find my way home, will you take hold of me

CHORUS:
                G
I've been going so long
          D
I can barely say
              Em C
All I know is now I want to stay
            G
Has it been too long
             D
Since I went away
                    Em
Cause I'm trying to find the words
    C
But I can barely say

VERSE 2:
(Same chords as verse 1)

Well I use to be the sun
Waiting silently but they barely noticed me
But I've been talking in my sleep
When anybody sees
They turn and run from me

PRE-CHORUS
CHORUS

BRIDGE:
Am D
I wanted to run
            Em Am
I wanted to love and be loved in return
                    D
But will I ever get back
Ebm Em C
Do I know too much too return

INSTRUMENTAL:
G F C Cm F

CHORUS

OUTRO:
G F C Cm F

Great post; thanks for tabbing this.

I think that the Cm you have in each of the verses is actually an Eb

And the Ebm in the chorus is actually a B7.

I want to post or [tab]
