INTRO

F C Am
I found god
       G C F
On the corner of first and Amistad
F C Am G C F
Where the west was all but won
F C Am G C F
All alone smoking his last cigarette

I Said where you been, he said ask anything

VERSE 1

Am G F
Where were you?
     G C F
When everything was falling apart
Am G F G C F
All my days were spent by the telephone
   G C F
It never rang
    G C F
And all I needed was a call
     G C F
That never came
       Am G F G C
To the corner of first and Amistad

CHORUS

Am F
Lost and insecure
C G
You found me, you found me
Am F
Lying on the floor
C G
Surrounded, surrounded
Am F
Why’d you have to wait?
C G
Where were you? Where were you?
Am F
Just a little late
C G C F
You found me, you found me

VERSE 2

Am G F G C F
In the end everyone ends up alone
Am G F G C F
Losing her, the only one who’s ever known
C F Am G F
Who I am, who I’m not, who I want to be

No way to know how long she will be next to me

Lost and insecure
C G
You found me, you found me
Am F

C G
Surrounded, surrounded
Am F
Why’d you have to wait?
C G
Where were you? Where were you?
Am F
Just a little late
C G C F
You found me, you found me

BRIDGE

G C F G C F
Early morning, City breaks
G C F G C F G C F
I’ve been calling for years and years and years and years
        G C F
And you never left me no messages
          G C F
You never send me no letters
                     G C F
You got some kind of nerve, taking all I want

Am F
Lost and insecure
C G
You found me, you found me
Am F
Lying on the floor
C G
Where were you where were you

END CHORUS

Am F
Lost and insecure
C G
You found me, you found me
Am F
Lying on the floor
C G
Surrounded, surrounded
Am F
Why’d you have to wait?
C G
Where were you? Where were you?
Am F
Just a little late
C G C F
You found me, you found me
Am F
Why’d you have to wait?
C G C F
To find me, to find me

luckily all ma acoustics are tuned half step down (dunno why, just a habit) but this didnt sound half bad, a lil off, and i know its not the right way to play it so i gave it a 3, but hey, this site is for people to give there own interpretations to song. so good enough!

there were a few places where it said to play E where it should have been F. i'm sure it was only a typo though! good tab!
