Tuning: Full Step Down

[Intro / Verse lead]

e|--0-5-0-8-7-5---|
B|----------------|
G|----------------| (x4)
D|----------------|
A|----------------|
E|----------------|

[Verse 1]

C
Mary, this station is playing every sad song
Am
I remember like we were alive
C
I heard and sung them all from inside of these walls
Am
In a prison cell, where we spent those nights
C
And they burned up the diner where I always used to find her
Am
Licking young boys blood from her claws
C
And I learned about the blues from this kitten I knew
Am
Her hair was raven and her heart was like a tomb

[Pre-chorus]

Guitar 1

F G
     My heart's like a wound

[Chorus]

      Am F C G
I saw tail lights last night in a dream about my first wife
Am F C G
Everybody leaves and I'd expect as much from you
      Am F C G
I saw tail lights last night in a dream about my old life
Am F C G C
Everybody leaves, so why, why wouldn't you?

[Verse 2]

        C
Mary, I worried and stalled every night of my life
       Am
Better safe than making the party
      C
And I never had a good time, I sat my bedside,
     Am
With papers and poetry about Estella

[Pre-chorus 2]

Guitar 1
F G F G
With great expectations, we had the greatest expectations

[Chorus]

      Am F C G
I saw tail lights last night in a dream about my first wife
Am F C G
Everybody leaves and I'd expect as much from you
      Am F C G
I saw tail lights last night in a dream about my whole life
Am F C G C
Everybody leaves, so why, why wouldn't you?

[Bridge]

[Chorus]

      Am F C G
I saw tail lights last night in a dream about my first wife
Am F C G
Everybody leaves and I'd expect as much from you
      Am F C G
I saw tail lights last night in a dream about my whole life
Am F C G C
Everybody leaves, so why, why wouldn't you?

The intro, I think, would be more like this...

e|--5--0----8-7----| |--5-------8-7----|
B|1------1------8--| or... |-----5--------8--|
G|-----------------|x4 |5------5---------|x4
D|-----------------| |-----------------|
A|-----------------| |-----------------|
E|-----------------| |-----------------|

For the bridge, I would (adjusting the bridge in my own tab) play it like this...

e|8-----5-----3-----3----|
B|5-----5-----5-----3----|
G|5-----5-----5-----4----| x4
D|7-----3-----5-----5----|
A|------------3-----5----|
E|------------------3----|

Can somebody figure out the bridge for the acoustic version? I've heard Brian do it a few different ways, this is my favorite though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bB9-0S7IP8w

It sounds like he's finger picking a C and an Am, but I'm pretty bad at picking out these kinda things. Those two just seem to make sense though.
