I didn't see the chords on here for one of my favourite Glorious Sons songs and I just knew I had to
post it myself. I quadruple checked everything, it should be all correct. I couldn't find any lyrics sheets
since this song is pretty new. I had to decipher them myself but I think I
got most of them right despite him being a little difficult to understand at parts.

Enjoy!

- Sam

[INTRO]

(This is tabbed out by ear but I think it's pretty close. Listen to it a few times to get the rhythm right)

[VERSE]

  F G C
I saw her in the halls of that old high school

           F G C
She was as pretty as the sun on the morning dew

  F G C F G C
I never said a word I knew the boys had talked her silent

          F G C
She had a look on her face like she hated the world

       F G C
But it wasn't the look of an angry girl

    F G C F G C
She looked like a woman that no one could catch crying

[PRECHORUS 1]

      Fmaj7 G
I was nothin to her, she was too pretty for me

        C Am
I was a dirtbag she was a jaded queen

Fmaj7 G
She moved east and I stuck around

            C
She was the last good thing left in this town

[CHORUS]

            G F
She was the last good thing left in this town

            C
She was the last good thing left in this town

G F
She moved east and I stuck around

            C
She was the last good thing left in this town

F G C (x2)

[VERSE 2]

  F G C
I started working my father's shop

         F G C
I'd just waste his money and watch the clock

        F G C F G C
I got a house on the highway filled with cracks and silence

          F G C
I've been waiting for years I've been lookin in mirrors

          F G C
I've been dreamin of ways to run from here

          F G C F G C
I've been lookin inside myself for somethin I'm not findin

[PRECHORUS 2]

     Fmaj7 G
Well every now and then she comes back around

      C Am
And I see her sometimes when I go out

       Fmaj7 G
I just smile and nod and I hide in the crowd

            C
She was the last good thing left in this town

[CHORUS]

            G F
She was the last good thing left in this town

            C
She was the last good thing left in this town

G F
She moved east and I stuck around

            C
She was the last good thing left in this town
