THERE IS AN END - The Greenhornes (From the Soundtrack "Broken Flowers")
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: Andrea
Email: maurer-andrea@web.de

Tuning: EADGBe

Chords: F#m 244222 (----22)
        C#m 446654 (----54)
        B#m 224432 (----32)

To make it sound like the record just pick the B and e strings.

The verse rhythm goes like that:

                   1 2 3 4

The first two stikes are short, the third is not always played and is already part of
following chord!

You should be able to figure out the refrain rhythm by yourself!

I changed the solo a bit, because there are two guitars playing, but this tab is meant
for one guitar, so I made a mixture of what normally two guitars are playing.. Just try
or change it!

INTRO:

e|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----7-----5-7----5-7-----5-7----5-7---5-7----5-7-----5-7---5-7--------------|
G|--------6--------------6-------------6------------6--------------------------|

VERSE 1:

F#m C#m F#m C#m
Words disappear, words once so clear
B#m C#m F#m
Only echoes passing through the night
F#m C#m F#m C#m
The lines on my face your fingers once traced
B#m C#m F#m
    Fading reflection of what was

REPEAT INTRO

VERSE 2:

F#m C#m F#m C#m
Thoughts rearrange for millions I'm strange
B#m C#m F#m
All my skins drifting on the wind
F#m C#m F#m C#m
Spring brings the rain with winter comes pain
B#m C#m F#m
    Every season has an end

REFRAIN:

    B#m F#m
I'll try to see through the skies
              B#m C#m B#m
But the clouds were there locking up the sun, the sun

VERSE 3:

F#m C#m F#m C#m
Thoughts rearrange for million I'm strange
B#m C#m F#m
All my skins drifting on the wind
F#m C#m F#m C#m
Spring brings the rain, with winter comes pain

    Every season has an end

(play INTRO while singing...)
There's an end, there's an end
                                    F#m
There's an end, there's an end

Your B#m is just a Bm...an B#m doesn't exist in my opinion...it would be c

Not your opinion: FACT - B#m does not exist. In this song it's Bm. Get rid of the #s on the Bms and it's perfect though.
