It's my first time ever to try to figure out chords... hope there won't be too
many mistakes =P Enjoy!

      C D G
The rainfall in Morecambe embitters me,
     C D G
It soaks my hair and stings my cheeks,
          C D G
But you know that I am fond of you,
     C D
And all the things we're yet to do.

C D G
Procrastination, pay no heed of time,
C D G
Pursue romance and beak and wine,
     C D G
But you know that they're all fond of you,
     C D
And all the things you claim you'll do.

 C Em G
You will meet her by the statue,
                 C Em G
And you'll tell her what she wants to hear,
                           C Em G
Dont you know that young hearts bruise so easily,
                C Em G
And you sound like Billy Liar, My Dear.

C D G
Local girl put your heart in his hands,
          C D G
Should it fall apart understand,
C D G
You know that I am fond of you,
     C D
And all the things we will never do.

C D
Her heart
Her heart
Her heart

I play Em at the end of every line (except the last one) in the verse and Am instead Em in the chorus. And they play all chords in the chorus with the first string pressed on the third fret. This song's wonderful, so well done anyway :)

Not a bad effort, only with the inclusion of this lad's ^ corrections is it worth learning
