The Howls - Weight (2012)

thehowls.bandcamp.com
facebook.com/thehowls

Great song by a little known band.

The "rundown" is the transition between C and G with the bass note of the standard C shape changed
from C, to B, A, and then finished with the G chord (C - C/B - Am - G).
This can simply be played as C and G with no rundown also.

Intro: Em C G x2

Verse 1:
       Em D G
It’s a shame that it’s all a waste
          Em D C G
All these years gone with such a pretty face
         Em D G
It’s the sound of the heartbreaking face

When the weight is more than I can hold
         Em C G
It’s the dark dark and lonesome road
         Em D C rundown G
When the guilty walk to pay them a toll
