Poor Scouser Tommy - (Made famous by the KOP Choir)

Hello all of you Liverpudlians, I am a Liverpudlian myself and I feel kinda
sorry for the fact that this great chant hasen't got a chord or tab anywhere
on the net, so here it is. I have made it myself, so if you got any
corrections, please don't hesitate to contact me one way or another, so I can
fix it.
As some of you may know, the song has originally originated from the two
traditionally songs: "Red River Valley" and "The Sash" but later on a last
verse was added due to the embarrasing win to our merseyside rivals, the end
verse just follows the Beatles song "All You Need is Love"

Tuning: Standard E (E-A-D-G-B-e)

A E A
Let me tell you the story of a poor boy
Who was sent far away from his home
    A D
To fight for his king and his country
   A E A
and also the old folks back home.

A E A
So they put him in a highland division
Sent him off to a far, foreign land
       A D
Where the flies swarm around in their thousands
     A E A
and there was nothing to see but the sand.

A E A
Well, the battle it started next morning
Under a Libyan Sun.
   A D
I remember that poor scouser Tommy
   A E A
he was shot by an old nazi gun.

   A E A
As he lay on the battlefield dying, dying, dying
with the blood gushing out of his head, of his head
   A D
As he lay on the battlefield dying, dying, dying
       A E A
These were the last words he said:-

Oh I am a Liverpudlian
                     Em7 D
and I come from the Spion Kop.
I love to sing, I love to shout
 G Em G
and I go there quite a lot, every week!.

We support the team that's dressed in red
                     Em D
It's a team that you all know
It's a team that we call Liverpool

and to glory we will go.

We've won the league

We've won the cup
                  Em D
We've conquered Europe too
And we played the toffees for a laugh
G D G
and we left them feeling blue, 5-0!

(For the next part I like to hit the guitar with my knuckles to get a hollow knock to
follow the counting; but NO chords)

1, 2

1, 2, 3

1, 2, 3, 4

Rush scored one
Rush scored two
Rush scored three
And Rush scores four
La la la la

la la la

la la

G A7 D7
All we need is Rush La la la la la
G A7 D7
All we need is Rush
C D7 G
Rush is all we need, Rush is all we need
G* (end of on A G-chord)
