[Intro]
E - G - D - B

[Verse 1]
A B E
He was just a young boy in the city
A B E
Clouds of smoke he sought to find his dreams
A B E* E/Eb C#m B
Swayed hair and his pipe he walked through the white city
A B E
The hows-your-father bookies run the scene

e|-----7----5----4----2---0----0------|
B|---9----7----5----4-------2---------|
G|------------------------------------| (Played after "... find his dreams")
D|------------------------------------|
A|------------------------------------|
E|------------------------------------|
     E* E/Eb C#m B A
e|-------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------| (These are the notes I hear
D|-----6-----4-----2-----1-------| during "through the white city")
A|---7-----6-----4-----2----0----|
E|---9-----7-----5---------------|

[Verse 2]
A B E
She was just a young girl in the city
A B E
Struggling with life love and money
A B E E/B C#m B
Weaving through the streets and looking so so pretty
A B E
The rummest sort Stockwell had ever seen
A B F G
The rummest sort Stockwell had ever seen... seen

[Chorus]
A F G E
I've spent my days in the haze with the iceman
A F G E
I've spent my nights wondering the wards
A F G E
I've spent my days in the haze with the iceman
A F G E
It means the iceman is always on call

[Post-Chorus]
e|---------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------------------|(I'm sure this is played on bass
D|---------------------------------------------------------------| but here's the guitar equivalent)
A|------------5--2~--2--0-----------------5--2~--2--0-------0----|
E|--0~--2--3--------------3--2--0~--2--3--------------3--2-------|

[Verse 3]
A B E
She started work on the last day of November
A B E
Spilling drinks in a seedy cabaret show
A B E* E/Eb C#m -
He met her on the first day of December
B A B E
Outside a bookshop on the Charing Cross road

[Verse 4]
A B E
Those winter nights they'd walk along the river
A B E
He'd chain-smoke and she'd stare up at the sky
             A B E E/Eb C#m
And say this life, this love, this river has to end
    A B E
But just for now we have all the time
A B F G
Just for now we have all the time... time

[Bridge]
A F G E
Don't spent your days in the haze with the iceman
A F G E
Don't spent your nights wondering the wards
A F G E
Don't spent your days in the haze with the iceman
A F G E
It means nothing at all

[Pre-Chorus]
e|---------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------------------|

[Chorus] x2
A F G E
Don't spent your days in the haze with the iceman
A F G E
Don't spent your nights wondering the wards
A F G E
Don't spent your days in the haze with the iceman
A F G E
It means nothing at all

[Outro]
B A E
Just for now we have all the time
B A E
Just for now we have all the time

Hey, I guess I'd go with progressions somewhere round these notes for the last bridge lead:

G|----------10------------------------------
D|-11h12p11----12-10--(11h)12(p11)--12-12-9-

Another thing is, I'm not sure about the E,E/B..-Part.
If you watch this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7Hf7ctDZNQ), Pete doesn't seem to be moving his fingers as far as your tabs suggest!?

Anyone's got any ideas on that?
