F#m Fm x3 F#m

A E*E A
Saw two shadowed men on the Vallance Road
A E*E A
Said they'd pay me for your address Oh, I was so bold
   G# G F#m* C#m
To say, "you see these two cold fingers
F#m* C#m E7
 These crooked fingers I show?"

You a way to mean no

A E*E A
Well, they didn't like that much I can tell you
A E*E A
Said, "sunshine I wouldn't wanna be in your shoes"
G# G F#m* C#m
Then they chased me up three flights of stairs
F#m* C#m E7
Caught me in the lift, I sighed and said, "hello"

But your impossible

F#m E6
And it's just like he's in another world
F#m/D C#m7 Cm7 Bm7
He doesn't see the danger on show
                             C#7
Now he'll end up like Joseph bloody in the hole
F#m E6
And it's just like she's in another world
F#m/D C#m7 Cm7 Bm7
And how they suit each other, oh no
                  C#7
But you never get close
(Oh, it's impossible)

F#m Fm x3 F#m

A E*E A
Saw the same two men on the Cally road
A E*E A
Said now they double their offer I was so bold
   G# G F#m* C#m
To say, "you see these two cold fingers I know
F#m* C#m E7
 These crooked fingers I show?"

Oh, you a way to mean no

F#m E6
But it's just like he's in another world
F#m/D C#m7 Cm7 Bm7
He doesn't see the danger on show
                             C#7
Now he'll end up like Joseph bloody in the hole
F#m E6
And it's just like she's in another world
F#m/D C#m7 Cm7 Bm7
And how they suit each other, oh no
                  C#7
But you never get close
(It's unstoppable)

F#m Fm x3 F#m
Am
F#m* C#m x2 E7

F#m E6
And it's just like we're all in another world
F#m/D C#m7 Cm7 Bm7
And how we suit each other, oh no
                  C#7
But you never get close
                    Am
That's close enough now...

I'm not really sure about the ending but I think the rest it's 100% accurate.
If you have any suggestion on the ending please comment. Thanks.

is it not a DM7, or some sort of D major anyway, in the chorus? the minor sounds wrong, surely a song in A major or F#m wouldnt have an F note in there anywhere?

I step down F#m, E6, D, C#m, Cm7, Bm7 in the chorus which sounds right on an acoustic, haven't tried it on the electric though. The rest is awesome. Cheers sr Ribeiro.
