*This is really similar to another person's version on here, but as I played it, I realized it needed just a
bit of tweaking.

[Chorus 1] - C A7
What a day for a daydream,

           Dm7 G7
What a day for a day dreamin' boy

           C A7
And I've been lost in a daydream,

           Dm7 G7
Dreamin' 'bout my bundle of joy

[Verse 1] - Fmaj7/A D7 C A7
And even if time ain't on my side

           Fmaj7/A D7 C A7
It's one of those days for taken a walk outside

           Fmaj7/A D7 C A7
I'm blowin' the day to take a walk in the sun

           Fmaj7/A G G7
And fall on my face on somebodies new mowed lawn

[Chorus 2] - C A7
I've been having a sweet dream

           Dm7 G7
I've been dreamin' since I woke up today

           C A7
It starred me and my sweet pea

           Dm7 G7
'Cause she's the one makin' me feel this way

[Verse 2] - Fmaj7/A D7 C A7
And even if time is passin' me by a lot

           Fmaj7/A D7 C A7
I couldn't care less about the dues you say I got

           Fmaj7/A D7 C A7
Tomorrow I'll pay the dues for droppin' my load

           Fmaj7/A G G7
A pie in the face for being a sleepy bull toad

(Whistle chorus)
           C A7 Dm7 G7
           C A7 Dm7 G7

[Verse 3] - Fmaj7/A D7 C A7
And you can be sure that if you're feelin' alright

           Fmaj7/A D7 C A7
A daydream will last all on into the night

           Fmaj7/A D7 C A7
Tomorrow at breakfast you make pick up your ears

           Fmaj7/A G G7
Or you may be daydreamin' for a thousand years

[Chorus 3] - C A7
What a day for a daydream

Lyric: "A pie in the face for being a sleepy bow-doe"

should be "A pie in the face for being a sleepy bull toad"

Respectfully,
Paul
