[Intro]

C G C G C G C D

[Verse 1]
                    C G
I don't want to get over you. I guess I could take
  C G C G C
a sleeping pill and sleep at will and not have to
   D
go through what I go through. I guess I should take
C G C G C D
Prozac, right, and just smile all night at somebody new,
         Am C
Somebody not too bright but sweet and kind who would
Am C Am C
try to get you off my mind. I could leave this agony behind

[Chorus]
         G D
which is just what I'd do if I wanted to, but I don't
            C G
want to get over you

[Instrumental]
C G C G C D

[Verse 2]

                          C G
cause I don't want to get over love.
                     C G C G
I could listen to my therapist, pretend you don't exist
        C D
and not have to dream of what I dream of; I could listen
   C G C G C D
to all my friends and go out again and pretend it's enough,
           Am C Am
or I could make a career of being blue--I could dress
             C Am
in black and read Camus, smoke clove cigarettes and drink

[Chorus]
C G D
vermouth like I was 17 that would be a scream but I
                  C G
don't want to get over you.

The Am part is missing some chords imo.

I play:

Am Em C D Am
or I could make a career of being blue--I could dress
Em C D
in black and read Camus...

I play the Em as a Bm - or more specifically, I do that common walk-up from the Am to C where I've got the B on the second fret of the A string fretted and the D string is open, but the rest of the chord is a C. So technically I play a C/B chord
