[Intro]

Bm G (x4)

[Verse]

          Bm
It's the little things my mind commits
    G
To etch behind my eyelids
      Bm
Like getting stoned when we wake up
D A
Coffee grounds and coffee cups
      Bm
Your silhouette in high top sneakers
     G
And hardcore from laptop speakers
     Bm
The classics to the more obscure
      D A Bm
From Minor Threat to your old roommate's band
        Bm
Like a kaleidoscope admiring years
   G
I navigate around your tattoos
Bm
Said you got that one on a whim
      D A
when you were breaking up with him
          Bm
And that Matryoshka Russian doll
     G
The largest shell from big to small
Bm
What a way to start anew
    D A D
To shed your skin and find the old you

[Chorus]

D G D
Everybody wants to get famous
                      G Bm
But you just want to dance in a basement
                   G Bm
You don't care if anyone is watching
                 G D
Just as long as you stay in motion
                       G D
We put miles on these old jean jackets
                       G Bm
Got caught up in the drunk conversations
               G Bm
But after the party, it's me and you
           G Bm
After the party, it's me and you

[Verse]

    Bm G
The new-old look on everything we see
     Bm D A
From high upon this rooftop over South Philly
        Bm G
To the nights we lose our self control
         Bm D A Bm
From the sex, from the drugs, from the rock and roll

[Chorus]

Bm G Bm
Everybody wants to get famous
                       G D
But you just want to dance in a basement
                   G D
You don't care if anyone is watching
                 G D
Just as long as you stay in motion
                       G D
We put miles on these old jean jackets
                       G Bm
Got caught up in the drunk conversations
               G Bm
But after the party, it's me and you
           G Bm
After the party, it's me and you
           G Bm
After the party, it's me and you
           G Bm
After the party, it's me and you
           G Bm A Bm
After the party, it's me and you

[Outro]

Bm G Bm D A (x4)

Hi there, thanks for posting this song! You may add the intro which goes something like:d#|--------------------------------------| d#|-----------------------------|A#|----------7-77-7-5----------7-77-7-5--| A#|-5b6-5b6-5b6-5b6-5b6-5b6-5b7~|F#|----------7-77-7-7----------7-77-7-7--| F#|-7---7---7---7---7---7---7~~~|C#|-----0~---0-00-0-0-----0~---0-00-0-0--| x3 C#|-0---0---0---0---0---0---0~~~|G#|--2-----------------------------------| G#|-----------------------------|D#|--------------------3-----------------| D#|-----------------------------|As you know this riff is recurring throughout the song. You have to have appropriate strings for the latter part to be playable and sound good (I am referring to the 5b7).

Nice job! The only thing I'd change is that second note. Sounds to me like an open D note, not 4th fret D string. Everything else sounds great! Thanks for sharing.
