Intro:
Bb | F | Eb | F | Bb | Eb |
F | Bb |

Bb F
It took me 17 days in the pouring rain
Gm F Eb
and 2000 miles alone
Eb F
making my way through your kingdom
             Gm F
on the wrong side of the road
Bb F
Eating at the service stations,
Gm F Eb
sleeping in motel rooms
Eb F
When I leave I'll miss some friends I made,
Gm F
but this time I won't miss you

G Bb
No and I won’t miss these gray skies
Gm F Bb
That hang over me like fate
Eb F
Sometimes you think you need something new
Gm C7
then you get it and it's just not the same

                  Eb F Bb
               Eb
Goodbye rain, Goodbye Queen Jane
F Gm C7
I'm going home to the Golden State to fix all of my mistakes
                  Eb F Bb
               Eb
Goodbye rain, Goodbye Queen Jane

Bb | F | Bb
Eb | F | Bb

Bb F
I ventured in to this foreign land
Gm F Eb
relying on the satellite
Eb F
Just when you're lost at the roundabout
Gm F
It tells you to go left or go right
Gm Bb
But now l long for familiar roads
Gm F Bb
when I know how to take the turns
Eb F
I can't wait to get out of this place
Gm C7
with all of my lessons learned

                  Eb F Bb

I'm going home to the Golden State to fix all of my mistakes

I used to think I could love you
Gm Bb F
But you have proven me wrong
Eb F
The only thing you've been right about
G C7
Is that we don't belong

It’s an amazing song, I really love it. If you know them a little bit better you know
Kenneth plays pretty insane parts. But try some major and blues scales, you get them fast enough!

I really love these guys, and this is a great song.

I play this, without changing keys, with a capo on the 1st fret.

Chords are A E Fm D and B7. Lots easier.
