ok the chorus does go from D to G, but the last chord in the chorus has an E (the second scale) degree in it so the chord itself i think is this
E-12-
B-15- (Dsus2) but of it could also be an Asus4
G-14-

yeah, the chorus definitely has four chords.
D, G, D, and the Dsus2 chord atwbthe3rd wrote out fits with the verse progression, and sounds good by my ear
