[Intro]
Em C G Em D Em D

Em
One is for envy and one just for spite
C
The cuts in my heart, they show in your eyes
G
Don´t make it better
                             D
The twisting knife turns all by itself on to someone else
Em
Your self-liberation, will leave this behind
   C
Beyond slings and arrows, that rain on our minds
G
You’ll make it better shake it off
         D G
It never mattered anyway...

                     D
If we don't make it alive
                      Bm Em
Well it's a hell of a good day to die.
        D C
All our light that shines strong
     D G
Only lasts for so long.
                         D
And it's ashes to ashes again
               Bm Em
Should we even try to pretend?
        D C
All our light that shines strong
     D G
Only lasts for so long.

Em
The banner you’re waving, is burning and red
     C G
It’s blocking the sunlight, that shines overhead you against the world
                             D
Diamonds and pearls voices inside you churn watch the city burn
    Em
Your own liberation, will leave them behind
     C
All the slings and arrows, that rain on our minds
G
Don’t make it better
                         D G
Break it cause, it never mattered anyway...

                     D
If we don't make it alive
                      Bm Em
Well it's a hell of a good day to die.
        D C
All our light that shines strong
     D G
Only lasts for so long.
                         D
And it's ashes to ashes again
               Bm Em
Should we even try to pretend?
        D C
All our light that shines strong
     D Em
Only lasts for so long.

It never mattered, mattered, mattered anyway...

                      D
If we don't make it alive

All our light that shines strong
     D G
Only lasts for so long...

Don't tune it down, keep same fingerings/formations. the studio version is a half-step up.

Dude, please for christ' sake, correct the lyrics! THEY'RE AWFUL. THEY'RE SERIOUSLY WRONG. Google the lyrics please. Anyway, the chords are good, and I agree with Letterbomb, you can either way play them one step up or down on your guitar, you don't need to re-tune the strings.

they never say half truism in the song, it's the theme.

the lyrics are very wrong.
