Intro:
Aadd9 G#m7 C#m7 Bm7 A Am7 E 2x

VERSE 1
F#m7 G#m7 Gm7
So he drives a cadillac baby
F#m7 G#m7 Gm7
His belt buckles diamond-plated
F#m7 G#m7 Gm7
He treats you like a lady, yes he does and
F#m7 C#m7
Tells you you are underrated
D Aadd9
It seems like nothing could go wrong

CHORUS:
               G#m7 C#m7 Bm7 A
When the levee blo - ows, and the tears fall down your face
        Am7 E Aadd9
Will it feel the same, I don't know
                  G#m7 C#m7 Bm7 A
When the curtains clo - ose, and you stand in awe alone
          Am7 E
Will your pretty eyes still show,
            Am7 E
That you've played this game before

VERSE 2:
F#m7 G#m7 Gm7
So he went to Harvard
F#m7 G#m7 Gm7
Builds schools down to Guatemala
F#m7 G#m7 Gm7
Spends every Tuesday night with his mama
F#m7 C#m7 D
Look I get it, the man's a six-five, blue eyed, American Dalai Lama
                                   Aadd9
I just want you to be careful,

CHORUS again

INTERLUDE

Repeat throughout this part

e|----------------------------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------2h4-2p0--------------------------------|
D|---------2-------------2---------2------------------------------|
A|-----2h4---2h4-----2h4------------------------------------------|
E|-0-0-----------0-0----------------------------------------------|

There's always rocks in the streams,
there's always a stem in your grass,
there's always a snag at the seam,
well theres always a ghost in your past,
you might think that you can hide,
you might think that you can cope,
you might bottle it up inside but
ooooooooh sugar don't

CHORUS

Same thing as the interlude fade out.....

When the levee blows......
When the levee blows......

I think it's Am instead Am7... And use the pinky on 1st chord 3rd fret

and also on, "Tells you you are underrated" it's F#m7 -> B with little finger on the 2nd chord 5th fret

For the intro I slide the Aadd9 up a fret then jump to the Cm. It sounds better to me and I think that's what he does in the video.
