The Reliques - The Love Of God
Check them out here!

Strumming pattern is straight and simple, just listen to the song. They play it with a capo on 4th fret.
Intro (they go straight into verse, but I add an intro)

Verse 1
    C G C G C G C G
The love of God, the Son of Man. You lived, you suffered, you rose again.
         C D Em G C D G
You left because you would return. I will be ready when you come.
    C G C G C G C G
The love of God, the Son my soul, you are the water, river flow.
             C D Em G C D G
You keep the stars up in the sky and the whole earth you gave it life.

           C D G C D G
And I will dance upon my grave when you're calling out my name.
     C D Em D
Open wide your pearly gates my soul to save.
(My soul to save)[skip first time]

Intro chords

Verse 2

And in your death I am redeemed. Spirit, blood, wash over me.
And in your love I am complete. I lift my eyes up and look to thee.

Chorus x2

     C G
I am not afraid
     C G
I am not afraid
     C G
I am not afraid
I am not
(Repeat 3 times)

Chorus x3

That's it! Listen to the song, it's super easy, but beautiful.
The Reliques are an amazing folk rock duo. This is the first song I ever heard of theirs, and has become a
favorite in our church youth group. The chords are directly from a tutorial they used to have on their site,
but the page is no longer available.

If you have 2 guitars, when the 2nd comes in, it follows the same patterns,
but different chords with capo on 9th fret. I only play with 1, so I haven't taken time
to figure out the 2nd yet. Perhaps someday, or perhaps someone else will come behind and
add it! I was surprised no one had already uploaded this amazing song.

Very close, but the E's are actually an Em. Other than that it's right on!
