Far Away Eyes (M. Jagger/K. Richards)

G C
I was driving home early Sunday morning through Bakersfield
G D
Listening to gospel music on the colored radio station
        G C
And the preacher said, "You know you always have the
G D
Lord by your side"
And I was so pleased to be informed of this that I ran
         C G D
Twenty red lights in his honor Thank you Jesus, thank you lord

G C G D

G C
I had an arrangement to meet a girl, and I was kind of late
G D
And I thought by the time I got there she'd be off
G C
She'd be off with the nearest truck driver she could find
G D
Much to my surprise, there she was sittin in the corner
G C
A little bleary, worse for wear and tear
      G D G
Was a girl with far away eyes

             C D
So if you're down on your luck
        G C G C
And you can't harmonize (2ND TIME: I KNOW YOU ALL SYMPATHIZE)
       G D G
Find a girl with far away EYES
             C D
And if you're downright disgusted
         G C
And life ain't worth a dime
       G D G
Get a girl with far away eyes

G C
Well the preacher kept right on saying that all I had to do was send
G D
Ten dollars to the church of the sacred bleeding heart of Jesus
G C
Located somewhere in Los Angeles, California
G D
And next week they'd say my prayer on the radio
G C
And all my dreams would come true
G D
So I did, the next week, I got a prayer with a girl
G D G
Well, you know what kind of eyes she got

[Chorus 2]

Dear Ross,
I am going to go easy on you and give you a little information to help you learn how to author a tab/chords song, that you can be proud of.
First, open windows and a new blank, word document. Title it with the song and artist. Your going to be able to cut and paste it in Ultimate-guitar if you want, in the end.
Make sure you dbl. space and fill in all of the lines with chords at the correct note/word change. Don't be lazy ass and fill in one Verse and chorus and think ur done!
Use the internet! Open upen, up in one tab, Youtube, search artist or band, and song title, whom did the song you want. And in another tab open up Lyricsplanet.com, sing365.com or any of the other 100 lyrics web sites.
Find the lyrics that you want, cut and paste to your new word document.
Go back to your home page and then to Ultimate-guitar and call up the song/artist and find a chord tab if exhisting (it may not be)start comparing versions on Ultim. with the artist on youtube.
You will get the correct key. lyrics, and be able to find the chords by comparing individual notes as the orign. artist is playing the song, fill in the blanks yourself.
In 45 minutes you can have a complete, worded, chorded, almost original clean song to play with your friends!
Now wasn't that easy?

Don't appologise anymore for bad tabs. With todays technology at your finger tips it's inexcusable anymore!

P.S. Don't mention it, it was my pleasure!
