TURN ON ME

MAIN RIFF

	C* (Am) G

G ----------0---------------------------------------------|
D -----2ˆ3------2ˆ3-2----2--------------0-----------------|
A ---3--------3--------3----0-3----2ˆ3-----2ˆ3-2----------|
E -------------------------------3--------3---------------|

*Half this “C” section after the first line in the verses

You can fake it for a while,
Bite your tongue and smile,
Like every mother does an ugly child.
But the stars are leaking out,
Like spittle from a cloud,
Amassed resentment counting ounce and pound.

			F
You're entertaining any doubt,
	C G
Because you had to know that I was fond of you,
Am	G	F	(?not so sure about this sequence)
Fond of Y-O-U,
F C G
Though I knew you masked your disdain.
Am	G	F
(La la la la la)
	C G
I can see that change was just too hard for us,
Am	G	F
Hard for us.
	C G
You always had to hold the reigns,
Dm G
But where I'm headed, you just don't know the way.

The Am does NOT sound right at all nd as a matter of fact they just play C and G during the chorus, the beginning works, but you also need the rest of the song put up, it is not all just a repetition

The Am can be played as a C. I bar it with a 355533 chord and switch to the G barred and drop to F. It sounds nice.
