This is my first tab, it's pretty much the same as the other moonlight tab just slightly
with the right notes.

Dancing in the Moonlight
by Smashing Pumpkins

[Intro]
Em Em7 D C G G1
Em Em7 D C G G1
Em Em7 D C G G1
Em Em7 D C G G1

[Verse]
         Em D
When I passed you in the doorway
     C G
You took me with a glance
Em D
Should've took that last bus home
C G
But I asked you for a dance
             Em D
Now we were steady to the pictures
  C G
I always get chocolate stains on my pants
Em D
  Father says "he's going crazy"
         C G
Says I'm livin' in a trance,

      Em D
It's three o'clock in the morning,
C G
I'm on the streets again
Em D
 Disobeyed another warning,
C G
Shoulda been home by ten
      Em D
Now I stay out 'till Sunday,
C G
I have to say I stayed with friends
Em D
  It's a habit worth forming,
C G
It's a means to justify the end

[Chorus]
                 Em Em7
Dancing in the moonlight
D C
It's caught me in it's spotlight,
  G G1 Em Em7
It's alright, it's alright, the moonlight
D C G6
  This long, hot summer night

Em Em7 D C G6
             Em Em7 D C G6
I'm walking home Last bus is long gone

[Solo]

[Chorus]
                Em Em7
Dancing in the moonlight
D C
It's caught me in it's spotlight,
  G G1 Em Em7
It's alright, it's alright, the moonlight
D C G6
  This long, hot summer night

                Em Em7
Dancing in the moonlight
D C
It's caught me in it's spotlight,
  G G1 Em Em7
It's alright, it's alright, the moonlight
D C G6
  This long, hot summer night

you can play the whole thing with your 3rd finger on the b string third fret, and just do the rest with your first 2 fingers (except the g where you add a pinky on high e 3rd fret), the picking at the end of each chord is correct then. pretty sure how it was done on those acoustic shows from the early 90s. this was the first song i ever learned on acoustic, super easy beginner song.
