[Chords]

    G Bm A7 D
e|--6---5---3---5
B|--6---6---5---6
G|--3---7---3---5
D|--3---7---5---3
A|--3---3---3---x
E|--6---x---x---x

[Verse 1]
D G
Woke up laughing on a hardwood floor
Bm A7
Five-story walk ups somewhere in New York
D G
Still smiling from lying on the roof
      Bm A7
Still smiling from opening my eyes and looking at you
         D G
And if I walk around Brooklyn with my headphones in
Bm A7
Hot cup of coffee that I spill when I’m air drumming
       D G
Will I one day bump into you as if by accident
              Bm A7
And see if you want to go somewhere and get a drink

[Chrous 1]
               G
Cause I’ve been laughing or pretending to laugh
         A7 D
I’ve been crying or pretending to cry
            G
But I could stand on this corner
              A7
And watch you walk my way
D
For the rest of my life
         G
I’ve been laughing or pretending to laugh
         A7 D
I’ve been crying or pretending to cry
            G
But I could stand on this corner
              A7
And watch you walk my way
D D G Bm A7
For the rest of my life

[Verse 2]
D G
It was snowing when we drove back to the city
          Bm
Wanted to climb up on your fire escape
    A7
And kiss you on your pretty face
D G
Lying around and I stared into space
     Bm A7
Half smiling, half flying, half asleep, half awake
      D G
And I just really needed you to know
     Bm A7
That you don’t have to wait at this snow alone
          D G
And maybe I’m just a reminder of home
            Bm A7
But I still think we made each other feel something good

[Chorus 1]
             G
And I’ve been laughing or pretending to laugh
         A7 D
I’ve been crying or pretending to cry
            G
But I could stand on this corner
              A7
And watch you walk my way
D
For the rest of my life
         G
I’ve been laughing or pretending to laugh
         A7 D
I’ve been crying or pretending to cry
            G
But I could stand on this corner
              A7
And watch you walk my way
D
For the rest of my life

[Chorus 2]
    G
And I don’t want to marry you just yet
A7 D
But at least let me get you a cider and
G
I don’t even think I’d even have to pay for it
A7 D
Hopefully there’s a couple left on the rider
G
Just because I’ve got a lot to learn
         A7 D
Does not mean I am inherently a piece of shit
G
Just because I don’t think I know everything
A7 D
Doesn’t mean I don’t know anything
    G
And I don’t want to marry you just yet
A7 D
Although It’d probably help with my visa and
G
Can we continue having this conversation?
       A7 D
I will go and get us both a Bacardi Breezer
G
Just because I’ve got a lot to learn
         A7 D
Does not mean I am inherently a piece of shit
G
Just because I don’t think I know everything
A7 D
Doesn’t mean I don’t know anything

Or just put a capo on 6 and play open chords, or transpose down -2 (capo 4) to play in C if you're lazy like me.

Cheers for the chords, you can play the little riff at the start with the chords Dsus2(xx0230), G6(3x0030), A7(x02020) & Bm*(x20230). Picking for the Dsus2 goes 4th string, 3, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 2 and its similar for the other chords, plus there's a little hammer on & pull off on the 2nd fret, 1st string on the G6 chord. There's a youtube video of Wil doing it on acoustic
