"Hand In Glove" - The Smiths
(Morrissey/Marr)

transcribed by Adam Schaffer

Notes:

This is the way Johnny would play it in concert. If anybody has the
"There is a Light..." cd single or a copy of the Oxford '85 concert, this
should be familiar. It's a simplified version of the studio versions.

Once again, tune up all strings two semitones or capo up two frets to F#
tuning.

Main Riff:

F#---0------------0-------------|
C#-----0----1-0-----1_p_0-------|
A -2------------2---------2_p_0-|
E ------------------------------|
B ------------------------------|
F#------------------------------|

F#---0------------0--------0----------|
C#-----0----1-0------------3----------|
A -2------------2---x_sl_4---x_sl_4-0-|
E ------------------------------------|
B ------------------------------------|
F#------------------------------------|

Chords:

Bm - X02210

The chords aren't far off, and the intro is a good start, but I think it's missing a little.
I worked out the intro from this though so definitely worth looking at.
