Tab made from info found here: http://www.guntheranderson.com/v/data/sweethop.htm
I've not written it, just put the chords over the words how I play them.
I play it with cappo on 5 for my voice, but since it's unaccompanied traditionally
I don't think it really matters.

Verses:

/ Em - D - / G - D - Em / Em - D - / G - D - Em /

Chorus:
/ G - D - / Em - Bm - / Em - D - / G - D - Em /

     Em                 D
Lift up your hearts, Emmanuel's friends
    G         D               Em
And taste the pleasure Jesus sends
    Em                D
Let nothing cause you to delay
    G      D               Em
But hasten in the good old way

{Chorus}
      G                    D
For I have a sweet hope of glory in my soul
   Em                  Bm
I have a sweet hope of glory in my soul
      Em                  D
And I know I have, and I feel I have
   G            D           Em
A sweet hope of glory in my soul

     Em                     D
Our conflicts here, though great they be
       G               D    Em
Shall not prevent our victory
   Em                D
If we but strive and watch and pray
      G       D               Em
Like soldiers in the good old way

{Chorus}

        Em            D
Though Satan may his powers employ
    G         D          Em
Our happiness for to destroy
     Em               D
But never fear, we'll gain the day
   G        D               Em
By marching in the good old way

{Chorus}

   Em                 D
Ye valiant souls, for heaven contend
  G        D              Em
Remember glory is at the end
    Em                 D
Our God will wipe our tears away
     G           D               Em
When we have run in the good old way

{Chorus}

    Em              D
And far beyond this mortal shore
      G           D                  Em
We'll meet with those who have gone before
   Em                      D
And shout to think we have gained the day
   G        D               Em
By marching in the good old way

{Final chorus:)

      G                    D
For I have a sweet hope of glory in my soul
   Em                  Bm
I have a sweet hope of glory in my soul
      Em                  D
And I know I have, and I feel I have
   G            D           Em
A sweet hope of glory in my soul.
