Am C F G x2

[Verse]
          Am C F
I'm gonna fight 'em off
  G Am C F G
A seven nation army couldn't hold me back
              Am C F
They're gonna rip it off
G Am C F G
Taking their time right behind my back
        Am C F
And I'm talkin' to myself at night
          Em Am C F G
Because I can't forget
Am C F
Back and forth through my mind
         Em Am C F G
Behind a cigarette

[C-Part]
        Am C F G
And the message comin' from my eyes says, "Leave it alone."

Am C F G x2

[Verse]
            Am C F
Don't wanna hear about it
G Am C F G
Every single one's got a story to tell
         Am C F
Everyone knows about it
G Am C F G
From the Queen of England to the hounds of hell
         Am C F
And if I catch it comin' back my way
          Em Am C F G
I'm gonna serve it to you
    Am C F
And that ain't what you want to hear
           Em Am C F G
But that's what I'll do

[C-Part[
        Am C F G
And the feeling coming from my bones says, "Find a home."

Am C F G x2

[Verse]
             Am C F
I'm going to Wichita
G Am C F G
Far from this opera for evermore
          Am C F
I'm gonna work the straw
G Am C F G
Make the sweat drip out of every pore
        Am C F
And I'm bleeding, and I'm bleeding, and I'm bleeding
        Em Am C F G
Right before the lord
        Am C F
All the words are gonna bleed from me
           Em Am C F G
And I will think no more

[C-Part]
        Am C F G
And the stains comin' from my blood tell me, "Go back home."

Am C F G x(Whatever)

It, indeed, is a good version! I don't really know how to say it in English, so I hope you'll understand. I know the chords, but: how do you strum them? What is te right rhythm for them? Or do you have to do it with finger picking?

I find that replacing all the G's and Em's with E works better.
