Wasting My Time

Jack White really has fun on this song. This tab is completely right. Note for note.
I'm missing part of a solo. Its not completely necessary to have. It would be much better
I did have it. Here it is!

Normal Tuning

1st Verse
                      Am
And if i'm wasting my time
                      E
Then nothing could be better
                    B
Than hanging on the line
                      D E
And waiting for an honest word forever

  (Guitar solo)1

e|-0-3-5-5/7-5-3-0-|
B|-----------------|
G|-----------------|
D|-----------------|
A|-----------------|
E|-----------------| Strum Am after you hit last note on the first solo.

  (Guitar Fill)1

e|------------------------|
B|------------------------|
G|------------------------|
D|------------------------|
A|------------------------|
E|-0h3-3h5-5/7-7p5-3-3b-0-|
After fill 1 you play E then go to Am. Jack White throws in a couple of G's while
the E.

2nd Verse
                    Am
And if youre saying goodbye
                         E
please dont you think me bitter
                    B
for recalling every rhyme
from the book, the page
    D E
the line, the word, the letter

  (Guitar solo)2

e|-035-5/7-5h7p5-3-3h5p3-0-|
B|-------------------------|
G|-------------------------|
D|-------------------------|
A|-------------------------|
E|-------------------------| Again strum Am after 2nd solo.

  (Guitar Fill)2

e|-------------------------|
B|-------------------------|
G|-------------------------|
D|-------------------------|
A|-------------------------|
E|-0h3-3h5-5/7-7-3b-5-3b-0-|
Strum E chord again and thrown in the G's then go to Am.

3rd Verse
                         Am
Well the windows turning blue
               E
and waters everflowing
                    B
and i hope im not a fool
                   D
for laughing at myself
           E
as you are going

Very last thing to do is play the E and again throw in the G's.

h = hammer on
p = pull off
/ = slide up
\ = slide down

Well thats all you need to know. This song is really easy to play so if you cant figure
the tab you really should be able to figure it out on your own. Peace out!!!

It doesn't appear right, note for note, because I'm sure that E should be Em. Why is the solo not necessary to have? Jeez put some effort into it. The B also should be Bm, the D note being its minor 3rd

I mean the first solo is literally made of like 3 notes

B --------3--------------
G ------/4--4p2p0-2-0-/4v
D -----------------------
A ---------------------2-

I'm gonna tab this in full soon, its too good a song to not have the right tab on here

I realize that im a little late on this but: This tab is completely right. Note for note.
I'm missing part of a solo. Its not completely necessary to have. It would be much better
I did have it. Here it is!

These sentences mean completely different things.
