Band: The Wrens
Song: Thirteen Grand
Album: The Meadowlands

For the C/B, C/A and C/G chords i just keep dropping the C note on the A string of the
C chord, in case anyone doesn't know those chord positions.

Also, this is the bit played overtop. I'm not sure if it's a slide that plays it or not,
think it is but anyways i'll tab it out both ways.

Slide:
e|---6~---2--9~---|
B|----------------|
G|----------------|
D|----------------|
A|----------------|
E|----------------|

No slide:
e|---6~-----9~---|
B|-------7-------|
G|---------------|
D|---------------|
A|---------------|
E|---------------|

And now the song...
====================

G Em Bm D x2

G Em Bm D G
Talk about all that you kept bottled up inside
          Em
Makes you laugh
        Bm
Then it makes you cry

D G
I said it all too late
                C C/B C/A
Is this real at all?
       C/G Em
You're not so sure
          C C/B C/A
It's easy now because your safe
      D G
Can't change your mind
G Em Bm D G
Moving on is not fair when it leaves me on my own

           Em Bm
I lived my life waiting for tomorrow
      D G
But I guess it's your turn now
                C C/B C/A
Is this real at all?
       C/G Em
You're not so sure
          C C/B C/A
It's easy now because your safe

Can't change your mind
Em Bm
We trade these lines to get us by
D Bm

C Bm D
You keep saying Jersey’s not a home

G Em C x2

G Em C
I thought I had it all figured out

                    G
but look who got it wrong
                C C/B C/A
Is this real at all?
       C/G Em
You're not so sure
          C C/B C/A
It's easy now because your safe
      D G
Can't change your mind

verses are wrong, instead play:
G Em Am C G
Talk about all that you kept bottled up inside

this part of the chorus is also wrong:
Am C
it's easy now, because you're safe
G
can't change your mind

the bridge is also wrong:
Em G
we trade these lines to get us by
Bm D
but what's the matter
Am Em D
You keep saying Jersey’s not a home

for a "novice" song it's pretty incorrect ;p
