It's 5 (I think. Not going to count) notes. You can do it without moving your hand this way. E--------------------------0-0-0-0-0-0----------------|B----------1-(12x)--3(12x)--------------3-3-3--1-1----|G--2(12x)------------------------------------------0--| repeat itD-----------------------------------------------------|A-----------------------------------------------------|E-----------------------------------------------------|thenE----------------------------------------------------0-0-------------0--|B----------1-1--3-3--1-1-----1-1--3-3--1-1-------1-1-----1-1-3-3-1-1----|G--0--2-2-----------------2------------------2-2------------------------|D-----------------------------------------------------------------------|A-----------------------------------------------------------------------|E-----------------------------------------------------------------------|This also goes a long way in figuring out the chords associated with it. A lot of pop songs use the chords : Am F C and G . It's a good first guess. Look at the notes for the intro. 2nd fret on the G fits the Am chord shape. So does first on the B string. Third fret on the B string fits the G chord (depending on how you play it. I do 320033 EADGBE. Finally, an open pluck on the high E could be Am or C, let's go with Am.In theory the intro can be played by switching between Am and G, just like Gotye's Somebody I Used to Know. I haven't looked at the song too closely, but I bet that it uses all 4 of the four chords: Am, C, F & G. Have fun, and practice doesn't make perfect, but sitting on your butt doesn't make you better.
