Them Crooked Vultures - "Warsaw or the First Breath You Take After You Give Up"
From their debut album
Tabbed by jjhand
Tuning - AADGBE (drop lowest string to A, use heavy gauge string ~0.060)

All rhythms have a swing tempo, where first 1/2 beat is longer than the
second half. This makes the guitar rhythm have long-short-long-short note
rhythm. Please Rate or Comment.

Lyrics:
"Feel like a no-tell motel painting
Out of place or ignored
It’s all medals & trophys, trophys & medals
& all before the race has been run

Oh take of your mask ( take it off now baby )
Is it to much to ask? ( to much to ask )
Go on und give it a try or ( give it up now )
Kiss your ass goodbye ( goodbye )"

Play Intro again

Verse 2 - play similarly to Verse 1 (1:47-2:23)

"Autobiographical anonymous ( anonymous )
A cotillion of friction on my jurisdiction
It’s a lovely disguise with the wandering eyes (wandering eyes )
I get high, now you’ve got something to look up to"

Play Chorus again (4x through)

Lyrics:
"Troubles a mangy stray dog
Play with it once, then it follows you home
It’s all “have not, have none, hey can I have some?”
Until I’ve had enough, yet I’ve had none

Oh take of your mask ( rip it off now baby )
Lose it into the trash ( throw all it away )
Go on and give it a try or ( come on now baby )
Kiss your ass goodbye"

Because it's such a long song and I can't get a guitar to stay in that tuning (which is the right tuning by the way, thank goodness someone noticed) I can't really tell whether it's all accurate but it's damn good and you obviously spent a lot of time on this. All the licks and fills are pretty much bang on though so it's definately 4 or 5 stars.

yeah this tuning is ridiculously low...i think heavyer gauge strings will help with the tuning issue

I have written and played in drop A here and there over the years and the best way of ensuring the tension and tuning remains constant is to restring with a set that has a .56 at the low E position. If you have a “spare” guitar that you want to dedicate to the tuning then I recommend taking it to be professionally set up to avoid problems later. Surprisingly this works well with a Tele-style guitar I have.
