                          (Third Day)

Drop D

Intro: D G D G

Verse1:
D G
It Seemed like I had run out of second chances
D G
And they sentenced me to die
D G
And I was just like a dead man walking
D G
I was running out of time
G A Bm Asus
But you came to me and opened my eyes
G A Bm C
You gave to me a brand new life

Chorus:
D Bm Asus D I am innocent
and I have been set free
      Bm Asus D
I no longer have chains around my feet
        Bm Asus G
And no matter where I go or what they say
Asus A7 D G D G
I am innocent

Verse2:
D G
Many years have passed since the day that I met you
D G
But your words are still the same
D G
And every time I find myself with joy or sadness
D G
I am calling out your name
G A Bm Asus
Cause you came to me and opened my eyes
G A Bm C C
You gave to me a brand new life (Chorus)

Bridge: D Bb Asus - D - Bb Asus
 D Bb Asus - D Bb C (Chorus 2X)

Outro: D Dsus D Dsus (Repeat 3x and end on D)

(The G that I play for this song while in drop D is like this...It's a bit of a stretch though.)

    G
e---3
B---3
G---0
D---0
A---x
D---5

(Also the chords in the Bridge are right, I checked them 3 times its just the timing,
the stop that you have to catch onto.)

This is one of my tabs and I checked it several times to make sure everything was in place and correct and I dont know why it keeps doing it to MY tabs I dont see it anyone elses tabs like that, I have one other tab where it did the same thing but, right in the first line of the chorus "I am Innocent" is way out in the far right of the page and if I did that I never saw it but, this is the way it should be...

D Bm Asus D
I am innocent and I have been set free (and so on)
