Pieces of April - Three Dog Night

Intro: Bb Eb Bb Eb

                Bb Eb Bb
April gave us springtime and the promise of a flower.
	                Eb F
And the feeling that we both shared and the love that we call ours
                    Bb Eb Bb
We knew no time for sadness that's a road that we each had crossed
                       Eb F
We were living a time meant for us, and even when it would rain we would
laugh it off
                   Dm Cm F Bb
I've got pieces of April, I keep'em in a memory bouquet
                   Cm F Bb
I've got pieces of April, but it's a morning in May.

              Bb Eb Bb
We stood on the crest of summer, beneath an oak that blossemed green
	             Eb F
Feeling as I did in April, not really knowing what it means
                                Bb Eb Bb
But it must be there that you stand beside me now to make me feel this way
		  Eb F Bb
Just as I did in April but it's a morning in May.

GUITAR SOLO: Bb F Eb Bb Bb F Eb Bb

You get an "A" for effort. You're MOSTLY on target. Your "D" in the last line of the verses ("meant" and "April") should be Bm. Also, the guitar is A, A7, D, A. It sounds perfect played at the 5th fret using the open-stringed A.
