whats with all the slashes and double chord things? what does it mean?

The slash means you are using a different bass note. For example F/C means that it is an F major chord with a C bass. Also, the spacing somehow got messed up for the Em and F in the first pre-chorus. The Em should be played at the beginning of the line "of saints return..." Also this whole tab is written down tuned by one whole step (DGCFAD) please take that into account and don't flame me.
