E A D G B E
[Intro] Am F G Am F G

[Verse 1:]

C C/B
Gotta hold on easy as I let you go.
Dm F
Gonna tell you how much I love you, though you think you already know.
C C/B
I remember I thought you looked like an angel wrapped in pink so soft and warm.
Dm F
You've had me wrapped around your finger since the day you were born.

[Chorus:]

C (Dm Em) F
You're beautiful baby from the outside in.
            C G
Chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again.
Am
Go on, take on this whole world.
F C G G#dim7 Am F G
But to me you know you'll always be, my little girl.

[Verse 2:]

C C/B
When you were in trouble that crooked little smile could melt my heart of stone.
Dm F
Now look at you, I've turned around and you've almost grown.
C C/B
Sometimes you're asleep I whisper "I Love You!" in the moonlight at your door.
 Dm F
As I walk away, I hear you say, "Daddy Love You More!".

[Chorus:]

C (Dm Em) F
You're beautiful baby from the outside in.
            C G
Chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again.
Am
Go on, take on this whole world.
F C G G#dim7 Am F G
But to me you know you'll always be, my little girl.

[BRIDGE:]

F G
Someday, some boy will come and ask me for your hand.
     Em Am Am/G
But I won't say "yes" to him unless I know, he's the half
                F Em Dm Em F
that makes you whole, he has a poet's soul, and the heart of a man's man.
             G Am
I know he'll say that he's in love.
    Am/G D/F# F G
But between you and me. He won't be good enough!

[Chorus:]

C (Dm Em) F
You're beautiful baby from the outside in.
            C G
Chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again.
Am
Go on, take on this whole world.
F C G G#dim7 Am F G
But to me you know you'll always be, my little girl.

It seems like there should either be a capo on 1 or it should be tuned down. Something is just wrong... cant really tell what though...

This is the correct key (C). Sounds ok on my Korg in this key playing along with the CD. Some corrections: There is subtle "G" in the intro. Am F G. In the chorus, there is a walk up from the C to F and back down to C. The "g#" is the right bass note at end of chorus, but the chord is "G#mb5". b5= flat 5. So the notes would be [ g# b d ]. Verse 2, end of line 2: there is no "C" chord. It's a subtle "G" to take you back to the next line with the "C". Verse 3 is really kinda like a BRIDGE. And after the first line, the chords are wonky. I haven't figured them out yet. But what's written isn't entirely correct. I'll post back when I figure them out.
