Intro: C, C9

Am G Am G
Had to find some higher ground, had some fear to get around

F9 G F9 G
You can’t say what you don’t know, “Later on” won’t work no more

Am G Am G
Last time through I hid my tracks, so well I could not get back

F9 G F9 G
Yeah, my way was hard to find, can’t sell your soul for piece of mind

Chorus:
F9 C
Square one, my slate is clear
F9 C
Rest your head on me, my dear
          G F9
It took a world of trouble, it took a world of tears
          G F9 C
It took a long time, to get back here

Am G Am G
Try too hard to stand alone, struggle to see past my nose

F9 G F9 G
Always had more dogs than bones, I could never wear those clothes

Am G Am G
It’s a tired victory, you won, and you also lost

F9 G F9 G
Told us you were satisfied, but it never came across

Hey Kyle...This is fantastic. Who in the world puts a capo on the 6th? I thought that George Harrison was the only guy pushing those limits. ("If I needed Someone" on the 5th) (Give Me Love, Give Me Peace on Earth" on the 3rd).

Hey man...keep up the good work!!
