Capo
3rd fret
Well I looked everywhere for the chords of this new song off of Orphans: Brawlers,
and Bastards, and I couldn't find them. I just started fooling around and I came up with
that sounds good, though I don't think its 100% accurate. Here's what I have so far, if
have any corrections or the right tabs, please let me know!

CAPO 3

  C F G C
My daddy told me, lookin back,
    C F G
The best friend you'll have is a railroad track
        C F G C
So when I was 13 said, I'm rollin' my own
       C F G C
And I'm leavin' Missouri and I'm never comin' home

       C
And I'm lost
       F
And I'm lost
    C G
I'm lost at the bottom of the world
    C F C G
I'm handcuffed to the bishop and the barbershop liar
C G C
I'm lost at the bottom of the world.

Excellent! The key and chords are correct although the timing is a little bit off. Also, I think the F and G chords should be switched around in the chorus. It should read:

C
And I'm lost
G
And I'm lost
C F
I'm lost at the bottom of the world
C G C F
I'm handcuffed to the bishop and the barbershop liar
C G C
I'm lost at the bottom of the world.

Well, I'm listening to the song right now and I understand why you want to put a capo on the third fret and play in C because the song is in Eb. However, if you put a capo on the first fret and play it in D it will sound more like the actual song. But even having it your way, some of your chords are wrong and bangerang92, though he's close to the right idea, has them wrong as well. The second line is simply F and G, as in:F GThe best friend you'll have is the railroad trackSame with the fourth line:F GAnd I'm leaving Missouri and I'm never coming homeAnd what banger wrote above seems okay except the third line is C then G:C GI'm handcuffed to the bishop and the barbershop liarBut again, try capo 1 in D as in:D G A DMy daddy told me looking backG AThe best friend you'll have is the railroad trackD G A DSo when I was 13 I said I'm rolling my ownG AAnd I'm leaving Missouri and I'm never coming home DAnd I'm lostAAnd I'm lostD GLost at the bottom of the worldD G I'm handcuffed to the bishop and the barbershop liarD A DI'm lost at the bottom of the worldI know you may here it differently, but these are the only chords that sound normal to me. I would have to change the melody to play any others.

I went to edit my reply and the formatting was removed. So I copied and now I'm going to post and hopefully I'll get it back:

F G
The best friend you'll have is the railroad track

Same with the fourth line:

F G
And I'm leaving Missouri and I'm never coming home

And what banger wrote above seems okay except the third line is C then G:

C G
I'm handcuffed to the bishop and the barbershop liar

But again, try capo 1 in D as in:

D G A D
My daddy told me looking back
G A
The best friend you'll have is the railroad track
D G A D
So when I was 13 I said I'm rolling my own
G A
And I'm leaving Missouri and I'm never coming home
D
And I'm lost
A
And I'm lost
D G
Lost at the bottom of the world
D G
I'm handcuffed to the bishop and the barbershop liar
D A D
I'm lost at the bottom of the world

I know you may here it differently, but these are the only chords that sound normal to me. I would have to change the melody to play any others.
