Verse 1: Silence
F#/Bb
     I think about you
             B
every single day
And every time
           Ebm
I see your face
I wake and it
             B
brings me to tears
We hadn't spoken in years
F#/Bb
     We were close when we
                 B
were young and naive
We grew up and we
              Ebm
learned other things
                        B
You'll always be sweet 16

Chorus 1: Silence
             Ebm
And you will always be perfect
You'll always be beautiful
B
Our hearts will never forget you
    F#/Bb
You didn't belong here
And it's become so clear
    C#
Why heaven called your name

Verse 2: Distorted
F#/Bb
I miss you and it still
             B
feels like I know you
I've got pictures of us
                Ebm
side by side to show you
But it feels like I owe
    B
you so much more

Chorus 2: Distorted
             Ebm
And you will always be perfect
You'll always be beautiful
B
Our hearts will never forget you
    Bbm
You didn't belong here
And it's become so clear
    C#
Why heaven called your name
            Ebm
And it just doesn't seem

right was it

really your time?
       B
Are we dreaming?
We'll never let go of you
Bbm
Wish you were here but
it's becoming clear
     C#
That Earth's just not the
                        Ebm C#
place for an angel like you
                  B C#
For an angel like you

Bridge:
F#
You meant so much to so many
                   Bbm
I'm not quite sure how
                 C#
to do justice to you
                    F#
If they're ready to say
                   Bbm C#
goodbye I know i'm not
Ebm
You made the news and the
                    C#
papers for days and days
But it hardly seems fair
The whole world should
B
know your name
               C#
I want them to know your name

Interlude: Ebm--C#--B--C#--

Chorus 3:

Silence:
             F# G#m
And you will always be perfect
       Bbm B
You'll always be beautiful

Distortion:
B
Our hearts will never forget you
    Bbm
You didn't belong here
And it's become so clear
    C#
Why heaven called your name
            Ebm
And it just doesn't seem

right was it

really your time?
       B
Are we dreaming?
We'll never let go of you
Bbm
Wish you were here but
it's becoming clear
     C#
That Earth's just not the
                        Ebm C#
place for an angel like you
                  F#/Bb <--Silence

Chords are much easier to play in half step down tuning

TA definitely play it with guitars and bass tuned Eb, not E. Most tabs for their songs get put in E but they always play in flat, often drop tuned too.

Agree with both the other two above - they play 1/2 step down - which makes the whole thing a bit simpler - so actually its in the key of G not F#
