Watch The World End

Intro: D, G, C

D G C
I had a bad dream last night
D G C
The whole world was ending, right before my eyes.
D G
There were fires and there were floods
C D
And everyone was running out of time.
C G
It made me think what I’d do
C D
If we really came to the end of the life.

C Em D
I don’t think I’d spend my last hours at an altar
C Em D
Or somewhere making toasts to good old days.
C D Em D/F#m C
The more I think about it, all I’d really wanna do
C D G
Is watch the world end with you.

D G C
I’d lay down in a field by your side
D G C
And watch every star falling out of the sky,
C G C G D
And I’d steal a kiss from your sweet lips one last time,
C G C G
          D
And I wouldn’t be afraid as long as your little hand was in mine.

C Em D
I don’t think I’d spend my last hours at an altar
C Em D
Or somewhere making toasts to good old days.
C D Em D/F#m C
The more I think about it, all I’d really wanna do
C D G
Is watch the world end with you.
C D G
Is watch the world end with you.

Are you missing a capo somewhere?

it depends on your vocal range, personally i play it open. so i guess it just depends on the vocalist. but to answer your question trace does play it capo'ed, but i couldn't tell you what it was because i based my chords off brett eldridge's version
