Notes*:
-this song is finger picked by playing
this bass note on the down beat then
then plucking the treble strings on the
off beat (the and of each beat)

-in the verse the guitar is scratched or
slapped muted on the down beats and then
the chords are popped on the off beats

-the outro is all fermata's (not according
  to rhythm)

-the chords with * are the same chords just
  different voices

Good job - someone finally got it right!! The only thing I'd correct would be the A/Ab - x 11 14 14 14 x - I know, same diff but look at this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwlK5b4KYfI&feature=related
(and technically it'd be A/G# ;) )

yea i know but UG doesn't let me put #'s (my preferred half steps) on mine are always flat like wtf? and second yes they're the same chord just different voicings with octaves and timber(thickness of the string) i usually choose lower voicings i like more of a 'Rusty feel when i play. put yes you are correct that's the voicing he uses (i dont need to see the youtube video i already know lol) but dont forget live performers change it everytime (i.e. Jason Maraz everytime he plays 'I'm yours he uses different voicings) but yes you are correct on which voicing McCoy uses
