[Verses]
 G G C G
You say you were wrong to ever leave me alone
             G D
Now you're sorry, you're lonesome and scared
         G
And you say you'd be happy
               C G
If you could just come back home
                G D G
Well here's a quarter, call someone who cares

        C G
Call someone who'll listen and might give a damn
       G D
Maybe one of your sordid affairs
     G
But don't you come around here
         C G
Handin' me none of your lines
            G D G
Here's a quarter, call someone who cares

     G C G
I thought what we had could never turn bad
           G D
So your leavin' caught me unaware
         G
But the fact is you've run
           C G
Girl that can't be undone
                G D G
Here's a quarter, call someone who cares

        C G
Call someone who'll listen and might give a damn
       G D
Maybe one of your sordid affairs
     G
But don't you come around here
         C G
Handin' me none of your lines
            G D G
Here's a quarter, call someone who cares

Looks like EVERY copy of this song on the internet has "sorted affairs." Every. Copy. It's "sordid" not "sorted." And the "BLEEP" for "damn"? You gotta be bleeping me with that. And the second "C" in the chorus is a C7.
