Authors Note: This is my first ever submission for UltimateGuitar.com, so please bear
with me. It's just the basic chord changes for this little known BOC song off the
"Mirrors" LP, as best as I could figure them. It sounds especially nice if you play the
verses with arpeggio strumming, then switch to full chords for the chorus.
I also recommend listening to the actual recording to get the timing of the vocals, if
you're into that sort of thing.

[INTRO]: [A G D G] x 2

[VERSE]:

A G D G
They have killed the great sun jes-ter
A G D G
Who danced between the stars
A G D G
They have stripped him of his man-hood
A G D G
Signs of Venus and of Mars
A G D G
The cynics left him weeping, and the jackals left him torn
        A G D G A
And the jester reaches out blind hands, He can touch the stars ... no more.

[A - G - D - D G D G] x 2

[CHORUS]:

       A G
And he took the stars in his hands
          D D G D G
And as he scattered them he'd shout
         A G
"I'm the joker of the universe
    D D G D G
I'm what it's all about."
         A G
Now he's dying in his grief
        D D G D G
And the hard men dragged him down
          A G
They have killed the wild-eyed jester
          D G A
They have killed the fire - clown

[Repeat INTRO]

[VERSE]:

A G D G
Now his blind eyes seek the starlight
A G D G
And his fingers seek controls
A G D G
To take him into space again
A G D G
Where he was both young and old
A G D G
The dancers stiff with pain, and they've made him kneel too long
        A G D G A
And the madness they have driven out, they've left him cold .... and sane.

[A - G - D - D G D G] x 2

[CHORUS]:

       A G
And he took the stars in his hands
          D D G D G
And as he scattered them he'd shout
         A G
"I'm the joker of the universe
    D D G D G
I'm what it's all about."
         A G
Now he's dying in his grief
        D D G D G
And the hard men dragged him down
          A G
They have killed the wild-eyed jester
          D G A
They have killed the fire - clown

[A - G - D - G - D - A]

A G D G D A
He'll never - sing his songs - again....
A G D G D A
He'll never dance between the stars - again....
A G D G D A
He'll never - laugh - again....
A G D G D A
No he'll never ever - laugh - again....
        A - G - D - D G D G
Oh, no....

Repeat [A - G - D - D G D G] and fade...

Or, since I always like to put endings on songs
(And I can't really "fade" while playing live

[A - G - D - D G D G] x 4 then end with A
