[Verse 1]
F Gm
I've been staring at the edge of the water
                 Dm A#
'Long as I can remember, never really knowing why
F Gm
I wish I could be the perfect daughter
                       Dm A#
But I come back to the water, no matter how hard I try

[Pre-Chorus]
       Dm
Every turn I take, every trail I track
       C
Every path I make, every road leads back
        F
To the place I know, where I cannot go
          A#m
Though I long to be

[Chorus]
         F C
See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me
            Dm A#
And no one knows, how far it goes
         F C
If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me
             Dm A#m
One day I'll know, if I go there's just no telling how far I'll go

[Verse 2]
F Gm Dm
I know, everybody on this island seems so happy on this island
                   A#
Everything is by design
F Gm Dm
I know, everybody on this island has a role on this island
                          A#
So maybe I can roll with mine

[Pre-Chorus]
       Dm
I can lead with pride, I can make us strong
         C
I'll be satisfied if I play along
         F
But the voice inside sings a different song
         A#m
What is wrong with me?

[Chorus]
         F C
See the light as it shines on the sea? It's blinding
             Dm A#
But no one knows, how deep it goes
        F C
And it seems like it's calling out to me, so come find me
            Dm A#
And let me know, what's beyond that line, will I cross that line?

[Chorus]
         F# C#
See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me
            D#m B
And no one knows, how far it goes
        F# C#
If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me
              D#m B C# F#
One day I'll know, how far I'll go

I love this! I've been playing it so much I've driven my family crazy. Perfect Ukulele chords. Thanks! Also, for ppl who maybe struggle to do barring, (like me,) instead of A#m / A# try doing Cm. It sounds slightly decent. Lol hope that helped.

If you want to stay in the original key just put it on -1. If that's too hard do -3 and put a capo on the second fret. Great tab though :)

Great job! Transpose to -5 is probably easiest to play until you get to the last chorus when there's a key change -- your fingers will fail you :(

-1/-11 is the proper key but when the song starts to go faster, your fingers will feel like spaghetti -- but the key change at the end is actually easier on your fingers.
