Sometimes I think the G is played aswell for example in the first line, 3rd to last note, it sounds like the G is also played faintly. And in the second line it sounds like it is played most of the time with that D.
I could be mistaken and it could just be the same guitar part with an overdub which ended up slightly out of time, but I personally thing it gives it a nicer sound anyway.

well theres a slight mistake on ur tab. . . on the second part through the intro u dont play the last part 2 times. u play it once and then do the hammer on to the 3rd fret first string
