Staralfur (acoustic) - Sigur Ros
Most of this was worked out using
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zn8j4LxQAMQ
although the song order is different to the cd.
Just to confuse you I've kept the original order.
Also the video is in E and not the half note up on the cd.
There's a mp3 of exactly how I play it here (capo on 1st fret):
http://www.esnips.com/doc/bed96443-e1e4-4008-8b10-f9c3cb2276b6/staralfur

The instrumental interplay:

The chords are mixing key choices (D# vs. Eb). Yes, they are enharmonic equivalents, but the choice of one affects the other chords. I would personally choose to notate as though it's in Eb rather than D# since it has three flats rather than six sharps, but that's down to preference. However, given the choice to write in D#, the Ddim chord should definitely be written as C(doublesharp)dim to preserve scale degrees. That makes sight reading this much more intuitive, and is also just proper form.
