why does it have to be in drop d if there is no playing the E string in this tab? not criticizing just saying

exactly it doesn't matter. you can play the intro in either tuning because they are the same thing besides the e string i just prefer using drop d for the rest of the song. you people are getting way too caught up on tiny little details. nitpicking is what they call it
