He may be a great player, but he's not a great teacher. Too many pauses while he figure out the different notes or chords. I hope he's putting on an act and not really that bad. Let's start with the first few lines. He comments on power chords, but does not explain them very well. There are lots of ways to play the intro using the various types of chords. The hard rock style uses the power chords for their strength coming out of a good amp. But if you're playing this on an acoustic you might find the straight or open chords are much better. It would have been nice to tell the student why they might chose one set of chords over another.

He then moves to the final lick in this sequence. By this point he has played the act of "let's see, I'm so good but I have to stop and count notes to teach you low level people." Funny thing is that he drops out of this act several times, and when he does he is pretty good.

If I were not so pissed at his style I would have moved on, but he was listed at Ultimate Guitar so I thought he would be better. He wasn't. With all the doofuses putting up plugs for their "new" books and lessons, this guy simply doesn't shine enough to make me want to buy him over another player/teacher. The "cool" player act is old stuff, so find a new shtick before going too much farther.
