Good effort, but the main riff is way off. Just hold the beat during the verse. Play an A on the E string and your set.

Just some advice for any of Cliff Williams' baselines...90% of the time won't use an open A string, or G string for that matter. He most always opts for the deeper sounding string. For example, take your open A in this song and move it to the 5th fret on the E string. Same note, deeper sound

Yeah, the only time he uses open strings is when he needs it as a pedal note during a fast lick or something, which isnt very often.
