I'm intermediate player so I put a capo on 3 & transposed down 3.

Much easier with a capo at the 1st fret and play in G.

Man.... "This" is the legit way to play this tune. The chords are accurate and correct. Spot on..... This is how you honor this iconic classic tune. I have to say... I am amazed at how many people use a CAPO as a crutch when playing guitar these days. It seems like every opportunity there is to play cowboy chords in first position is the preferred path.
Nothing against the CAPO. I use one all the time to leverage open strings on fingerstyle ballads or songs where the singer wants a lower or higher key. But to use it a the easy way out to play any song.... Man when you do that your keep the possibilities of expanding you playing more interesting stuff much smaller.
Professional guitar pickers only use a CAPO when necessary. When the tune requires it to authentically reproduce a tune from the original recording or to compensate for a different key for a vocalist.
As a veteran player I just want to encourage people to expand their playing possibilities. Learning to play bar chords and other chords shapes up the neck (i.e. jazz chords) etc.... You'll be glad you did.... for example how many version of any chords can you play up the neck? Just food for thought......
