Keira Knightly sings it the same exact way except that there is a Capo on the first fret. So CAPO 1 your guitar if you can't sing as high as Adam Levine

It's Fmaj7, not F throughout. The second G at the end the verse is a G7. For the chorus, it's Em for the line "Searching for meaning" not C. In the acoustic versions (his and hers, not sure about the full band version): He adds and takes off a sus4 to the G in the verse and chorus G/Gsus4/G. In the last chorus, at least, adds and takes off a sus4 on the D: D/Dsus4. You need to play with these to get the timing and pattern. It adds dramatic tension and a build-up feeling. For the final chorus he repeats the last 2 lines by going back to Dm and then to G--"All we all lost stars..."
