It's so embarrassing to see someone work so hard to try to berate another person for being wrong when that person is actually right.The chord over "don't" is, in fact, a D major chord. Why do you hear an F# in the bass? Because there are these things called inversions. Specifically first inversion. D major in first inversion is written on a site like this as "D|F#". I would add "now you've learned something", but that'd be a pretty dickish thing to say.

Seems like a decent tab, but the formatting is a bit odd. I'd break up each verse into at least four lines - probably eight, given the rhyming scheme...

I did not copy your Aimee Mann Deathly submission. There are two major differences, the E7/G# major chord that can clearly be seen in the live version is marked as E major in your transcription. I also have a rhythmic muted stroke followed by D/F# at the beginning of the chorus where you have a F#m to A. I am not trying to "avoid being caught" as my tab is correct to the song as played live at St. Ann's Warehouse.
