Busman's Holiday by The Allah-Las (off their self titled album)

http://allah-las.com

At the present time, there are no Allah-Las tabs, so I figured I'd get their name
on the website by tabbing the chords of this song. Any suggestions or corrections are welcomed.

Intro: E D A E G (x4)

Verse:

           E D A
Spent two years of my life in a foreign land.

           E D A
Came home to my own wife, had a different man.

           E D A
Saw fifteen sons and fathers lying on the ground.

         E D A
Just one click of my thumb, everybody's down.

Chorus:

E A
Oh it seems that this had become a dream.

E
Life ain't just what it seems.

A
Still run by ancient schemes.

       E
And oh, it shows

A
On the faces of those that know.

E
Blood flows where the money's stowed

A
Try to getcha hands on gold(?)

G B
But hey, what is anybody tryin'a say?

Bridge: E D A E G (x2)

Verse:

           E D A
Spent two years of my life in a foreign land,

           E D A
Came home to find my mind still stuck in the sand.

           E D A
There are things I never thought that I could do.

         E D A
I had to tell myself "Did 'em all for you."

Chorus:

E A
Oh it seems that this had become a dream.

E
Life ain't just what it seems.

A
Still run by ancient schemes.

       E
And oh, it shows

A
On the faces of those that know.

E
Blood flows where the money's stowed

A
Try to getcha hands on gold(?)

G B
But hey, what is anybody tryin'a say?

Bridge: E D A (E) (Strum each chord once) (x1)

Outro: E D A E G (x3)

Good tab man, great band too, they definitely deserve more coverage. Would be nice to have a few more tabs, unfortunately I'm a bit useless when it comes to figuring out chords by ear.
Would be good if you could manage to get more tracks from the album up.

Thanks for appreciating the tab, I hadn't figured out the lead guitar parts yet for this song, but if I find the time I'll post a separate tab for it.

Also, I've got every Allah-las song (from their self titled album) with the exception of two tabbed (chord wise), but its taking a while for them to become accepted by the ultimate guitar panel. But you should be seeing more soon!

Awesome band, they're gonna go places
